The Role
As a Medical Information and Vigilance Executive, you will be responsible for handling medical information inquiries, product quality complaints, and medical device incidents while ensuring compliance with UK/EU regulatory standards (GXP, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14971). You will support pharmacovigilance reporting, liaise with third parties, and assist with internal audits, staff training, and documentation control. Effective communication with internal teams, vendors, and customers will be key to maintaining high-quality service. Additionally, you will contribute to process improvements and regulatory updates, making this an excellent opportunity for a science graduate looking to develop a career in Medical Information and Vigilance.
What will you be doing?
As a Medical Information and Vigilance Executive, you will:
- Handle medical information inquiries, product quality complaints, and medical device incidents.
- Ensure compliance with UK/EU regulations (GXP, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14971).
- Support pharmacovigilance reporting and reconciliation with third parties.
- Assist with internal audits, staff training, and documentation control.
- Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to process improvements and regulatory updates.
The Person
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is eager to develop a career in Medical Information and Vigilance. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Science Degree (Pharma industry experience is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A team player with good time management skills
- Experience with Medical Information management systems (desirable)
