The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Formulation Development professional to lead and manage development projects in collaboration with CDMOs and cross-functional teams. This role will play a critical part in shaping formulation strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving successful product development and transfer activities.

What will you be doing?

• Lead the evaluation and finalization of formulation strategies in collaboration with CDMOs and internal cross-functional teams across development projects.

• Monitor development progress through periodic reviews, ensuring timely achievement and approval of key milestones.

• Review and approve critical development components, including:

  • Trade dress and tool drawings

  • Excipients and formulations

  • Process optimization and stability data

  • Product composition, specifications, and key reports (IDR, PDR, Tech Transfer Pack)

• Oversee and approve exhibit and validation batch documentation, ensuring smooth execution and successful completion.

• Manage site transfer activities, ensuring timely and compliant execution of all R&D deliverables.

• Oversee day-to-day formulation development operations, ensuring accurate, compliant, and up-to-date documentation practices.

The Person

• Ph.D. or Postgraduate in Pharmacy (M.Pharm or equivalent)

• 7+ years of experience in formulation development or a related field within the pharmaceutical industry

• Strong capability in critical evaluation of development activities and data

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners (CDMOs)

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and product lifecycle management
